What retro tech is available on the Rehoming Bench?

Items vary depending on donations. Most listings are smaller items like joysticks, controllers, cables, cartridges, peripherals, and accessories. Full vintage computers (Commodore 64, Amiga, Spectrum) and retro consoles (NES, SNES, Mega Drive) do appear from time to time, but they are less frequent. All items are refurbished and tested where possible before being listed.

Yes, completely free. No money changes hands. Items — whether it is a joystick, a controller, a peripheral, or a full vintage computer — are donated to Smiggy's workshop, refurbished, and rehomed to people who will put them to genuine use. Smiggy even covers UK shipping costs. Recipients must agree never to resell the items.

Yes. You can nominate STEM clubs, schools, maker spaces, younger tinkerers, or anyone who would benefit from free retro tech — whether that is a spare controller for their setup or a full vintage machine. Use the application form and select the nomination option.
