6 GHz provides 1200 MHz of clean spectrum (US) with no legacy devices. Wi-Fi 7 adds MLO (Multi-Link Operation) for simultaneous multi-band use. 320 MHz channels provide up to 46 Gbps theoretical PHY rate. WPA3 is mandatory.

Bench Troubleshooting & Repair Guide
1. WPA3 Only
Client device specs / AP security settings6 GHz networks require WPA3. WPA2 clients cannot see 6 GHz SSIDs. Verify all clients support WPA3-SAE before deploying 6 GHz-only networks.
2. Limited Range
Wi-Fi heatmap6 GHz has even shorter range than 5 GHz. Plan for higher AP density. Use MLO (Wi-Fi 7) for seamless failover to 5/2.4 GHz.
3. AFC Compliance
AP admin console / AFC databaseStandard Power mode requires AFC registration. LPI mode limited to indoor with lower power. Check regulatory requirements for your region.
